However, I am really surprised that Mommy Life (http://mommylife.net/) is not on your list! Barbara Curtis is a mother of 12. Four of her sons have Down Syndrome, and three of those are adopted. (She had a son with DS and decided she wanted more!) She's also a published author of books on parenting, politics, and Montessori techniques (written to regular moms), and has over 900 published articles in newspapers and magazines all over the country. Best of all, she's very down-to-earth, not at all preachy. Just reading her blog feels like talking to your best friend -- your very smart, experienced, well-spoken best friend!

You should REALLY check out Mommy Life (http://mommylife.net/).

One key to writing a good top mom blogs list is not have a billion images and links that bring down your reader's browser when they visit the page. I tried to view moms.alltop.com page and it brought my browser to its knees. I had to end task on Internet Explorer.

There should be some rule that mothers remain one inch taller than their sons, thus growing with them. That way I am always arguing down ...

I just have to tell you about a great inspirational website. My friend Janean writes - Memoirs of A New Me. She has found a way to remain hopeful when there are days when her hope should be gone. Her oldest son was injured in an accident and is now has a severe brain injury. A few months later her husband was in a roll over collision and nearly lost his arm 2 days before their 20 year wedding anniversary. As a result they became homeless a few months later. She has 4 boys total 18, 13, 5 and 4. The 5 year old is autistic. Somewhere she lost her self and she takes us on her journey to rediscover herself.

Hey Guys - I am new to your site and am excited about checking out all these wonderful parenting blogs. I am bookmarking the page right now. What a great resource. We have a nice parenting community in Atlanta on a blog called MOMania. (blogs.ajc.com/momania) It's a nice mix of parents -- some with older kids who can advise the newer moms. We discuss a lot of parenting dilemmas such "Do you alert the school when your child has lice or pin worms?" or "Sex Ed for teens more effective via texting?" But also have offering such as Top 10 cheap to free gifts for Mother's Day.

At least, to release some of the gas inside the mind..Since I don't have office colleagues to share with, the best option is of course thru the blog, with the group of the same interests.
